For almost the last two weeks we have been in Texas for Dustin's residency interviews. It was a whirl wind trip unfortunately not getting as much time with each family as we would like (driving takes a good chunk out of the trip) but we had a great time visiting anyway! Mya and I were able to spend several days with my family in Austin and then went back up to Dallas to spend the rest of the time with the Lloyds. We got to see Morgan (Dustin's brother) and his wife Melissa as they moved back to Allen briefly since he finished up at BYU. In Austin we got a big treat as we got to meet Kyle Hayden Allen for the first time, born October 15th, he arrived in my sister Kambra's home right after Christmas! It was such a great blessing and the family couldn't be more excited. Mya loved "helping" with her new cousin....well as long as I wasn't holding him! We had fun seeing both families and enjoyed our time with everyone (even though Nana and I got sick while in Austin). A break from the frigid winters up here was also a welcome perk! We love our family and were grateful for the time we got to spend together!

We got to watch a demonstration with the Lions. It was really neat and this picture was not zoomed in at all. Mya was just watching with her mouth open!

I am SO glad that you had a good visit! How exciting about Kyle! What good news for your family. I love the pictures of Mya getting bigger - her hair looks so cute in the picture of her running at the stadium, and her cute face is such a good mix of you two!
